Upgrading From Tiger is illegal!

Friday, August 28, 2009

From the EULA (Joe Kissel)
"If you have purchased an upgrade for Mac OS X Leopard license, then subject to the terms and conditions of this license, you are granted a limited non-exclusive license to install, use and run one (1) copy of the Apple software on a single Apple- branded computer as long as that computer has a properly licensed copy of Mac OS X Leopard already installed on it."

Don't worry Apple is still giving all of their Tigers a chance to upgrade with the all in one deal, the Mac Box Set, for $169.00 It includes:
  • Mac OS X 10.6
  • iPhoto '09
  • Garageband '09
  • iMovie '09
  • iWeb '09
  • iDVD
  • Numbers '09
  • Keynote '09
  • Pages '09
Although it is illegal you could still walk into the store and buy the upgrade, so use your own judgement, and make the right decision!
